Sweets are must during festivals. This Diwali try these guilt free sweets , Which are less time taking and very easy to make.

Coconut dry fruit Barfi

Ingredients

Desiccated coconut 1 bowl
cashews 1/2 bowl
Badam 1/2 bowl
Pista 1/2 bowl
Dates 1 bowl
Milk 1 bowl
Ghee 1 /2 bowl
  • Heat the pan , Put ghee and roast cashews, Badam, Pista in the ghee and keep aside.
  • Dry roast desiccated coconut for 5 minutes, It turns brown very quickly.
  • Put milk in the same pan , Put dates and cook till the mixture gets thick.
  • Add the nuts and desiccated coconut into it and mix well.
  • You can make laddu’s out of it , If you need Barfi just put the mixture on a ghee greased plate . Tell it cool and cut them in the shape of Barfi.

Sesame seeds ( Till ) Laddu( sugar free Indian sweets )

Sesame seeds 1 bowl
Dates 1 bowl
  • Take equal quantities of sesame seeds and dates .
  • Dry roast sesame seeds and keep aside, Grind them and keep aside.
  • Remove seeds from the dates , Wash them and grind them to fine paste without mixing anything.
  • Mix these two ingredients and make laddus.

Sugar free Kheer1 bowl equals to 2 cups

Semiya 1 bowl
Dates syrup 1 bowl
Dry fruits 1/2 bowl
Ghee 1/2 bowl
Milk 2 bowls
  • Put ghee in a pan, Roast dry fruits and keep aside.
  • In the same pan , Roast semiya till it changes the color.
  • Now add milk to semiya , And let the mixture boil for 10 minutes ( or till the semiya is soft )
  • Later add dates syrup and switch off the flame .
  • Mix well and garnish with dry fruits.

Modak( sugar free Indian sweets )

Rice flour 1 bowl
Desiccated coconut 1 bowl
Dates syrup 1 bowl
Salt pinch
Water 1/2 bowl
  • Take rice flour , Salt and water . Mix them in a bowl and knead into a soft dough.
  • In a pan put desiccated coconut dry roast it.
  • Now put dates syrup into the desiccated coconut and thicken the mixture to a dough consistency.
  • Make bowls from sweet mixture and keep aside.
  • Take rice flour make into small balls, Make it flat and keep sweet dough inside and wrap it.
  • Wrap it in the shape of modak.
  • Steam the modak’s for 20 minutes.

Peanut Poha Laddu ( sugar free Indian sweets )

Peanuts 1 bowl
Poha 1/2 bowl
Ghee 1/2 bowl
Dates 1 bowl
Raisins 10-15

 

  • Put ghee in a pan and roast peanuts and keep aside .
  • Roast poha in the same pan and keep aside.
  • Grind both of them and keep aside.
  • Now remove seeds from the dates and grind them into a fine paste.
  • Ghee roast raisins and keep aside.
  • Now make laddu’s out of the mixture of poha and peanuts, using raisins.

The recipes are very easy to prepare and takes less time. They are healthy and guilt free. You don’t need to worry about the calories , You can adjust the quantity of ghee according to requirements.
