Travel Packing with Tips & Tricks
Today, I’d like to share all of my best tips with you! Whether you’re going home for the holidays or taking a much-needed vacation, there is travel—and thus the ever-daunting task of packing—in your future.
Having these tips in mind often helps me hold things together. Without further delay, here are my golden essential tips for smart packing.
1. Pick out what you think you need and recheck.(travel packing )
Always make a stock of clothes preplanned according to your days of stay and number of members. Finally have a recheck the things you really need, this way you save your lot of time and space. While this may initially feel like a slow painful form of packrat torture, doing this will cut you down to the exact essentials you’ll actually need. I honestly think that over packing is hardwired in us, which is why doing this exercise is so helpful.
2. Make use of plastic bags ( Ziploc bags).
Plastic bags are my favorite things ever. They not only help you stay organized but also save loads of space in your suitcase/backpack. These are my no.1 travel game changers, and if you buy a good quality set, they’ll last a super long time.
Bring a few extra bags (e.g. totes, Ziplocs, plastic bags, etc.)
You never know when you’ll need them, especially for things like dirty clothes, which are always an afterthought. They weigh nothing and come in SO handy, so don’t forget a few!
3. Keep your liquids in a bag and separate them from your other goods: ( travel packing )
It’s important to separate liquids because you never know when bottles will spontaneously explode or leak! For extra coverage, cover the top of toiletry bottles with plastic wrap. This way, you’re fully protected.
4.Utilize space in your laptop bag and Your Totes:( travel packing )
It’s a great idea to utilize the extra space in your laptop bag. Utilize this space for diapers if you have kids or for extra towels, because laptop bag is easy to carry and handy too.
If you have kids always carry cough, fever, cold medicines with you, whether or not your kids have a fever, because kids or prone to diseases with climate change. Pack them all in a cover and throw it in your tote or vanity bag.
Pack your daily lip balms, lipsticks, clutches, hairpins, Bindis in separate box/cover and throw in your totes.
5. Last but not least, don’t forget to leave a little extra space:
A list of suitcase packing tips wouldn’t be complete without this important (but often forgotten) gem of wisdom.
Here’s the thing: you’re human… You will inevitably buy something. The worst feeling is falling in love with an item and having zero space in your suitcase to bring it home. So, always carry an extra bag that folds up small so that they have an extra bag for the way home (to hold all the shopping!)
